Guadix

Just north of the Sierra Nevada lies the beautiful little city of Guadix, famous for its cave houses. We made a day trip here to see the cathedral in the old town and this particular neighborhood of cave houses situated up above the town.

Bombarded with advertisements: Jamon! Jamon!

Either a short house up against a cliff or someone has found a way to skimp on property taxes.

A high-end version of the short-house.

I'm starting to think it's all on purpose.

Anika & Soren would like to move here and take over a fixer-upper.

This looks like a fixer-upper.

A view over the town of Guadix.

A whole neighbourhood of cave houses.

Manor house with Sierra Nevada behind.
